When an actor does numbered films and his acting acclaim lies in Bol Bachchan, you tend to be judgmental. But Abhishek Bachchan held up a canny act on Koffee with Karan without compromising on the fun element. And Farah Khan was blunt in a very likable way. This episode brewed with experience of the stars.
KJo called Abhishek ‘Prince of fraternity royalty’. But he answered all questions about his silver spoon stardom and being married to ever so gorgeous Aishwarya very gracefully. He was also a sport about him not being the face of Dhoom 3. Farah on the other hand does not believe in diplomacy and was upfront about getting her tummy tucked as well as her tiff with Akshay Kumar. Karan made an effort to change her mind but she seemed in no hurry to mend fences.
Both were goofy in their ways. They observed silence for Karan’s sex life. Abhishek at one point went onto play the piano when neither he nor Farah could name the PM before Manmohan Singh. They seemed displeased with male actors being vain especially clean shaven, oil clad six packs.
Combination of sarcasm, wit, candidness and light hearted humor made it a nice watch.
