Star Plus’s new primetime offering, Ek Hasina Thi, stands by its name and there is a femme fatale who wants to even things out with her former lover but not in the most idealistic manner. Like all other dramas it also has a powerful parivaar that will play the role of the antagonist. This time the protagonist is not about righteousness but justice, and the moral code would not stand in her way. She is aptly named Durga. Her cunning will succeed her in destroying the revered and influential Goenkas.
Familiar faces will be seen. Pretty and petite Sanjida Sheikh who got her fame from ‘Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka’ and won hearts with her dancing on ‘Nach Baliye’ is playing the lead, Durga. The Tarzan actor,Vatsal Seth, is returning on TV as a brattish , womanizing son of the Goenkas. His arrogant mother will be played by Simon Singh and you will recall her from Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gam as Kajol’s enthusiatic friend.
