7 lakh Indian viewers watch 'Game Of Thrones' break Emmys history

7 lakh TV viewers in India tuned in to watch the telecast of The 68th Primetime Emmy Awards 2016 aired on 19th September across two time slots: the live telecast was broadcast at 6 AM and the repeat telecast was aired at 8 PM on the same night.

Both broadcasts had the highest viewership during the last second hour of each telecast, as viewers witnessed the world-wide hit TV series 'Game Of Thrones' break records with the highest number of winnings in the history of the Emmy Awards.

Bangalore city claimed the highest viewership among metropolitan cities in India. Here's a look at some of the award show's viewership trends:
