7 lakh TV viewers in India tuned in to watch the telecast of The 68th Primetime Emmy Awards 2016 aired on 19th September across two time slots: the live telecast was broadcast at 6 AM and the repeat telecast was aired at 8 PM on the same night.

Both broadcasts had the highest viewership during the last second hour of each telecast, as viewers witnessed the world-wide hit TV series ‘Game Of Thrones’ break records with the highest number of winnings in the history of the Emmy Awards.
